  1. GOOD: once the game got going, the action made the episode really interesting and entertaining.
BAD: as with all people, gamers too, there was a lot of side-tracking taking place early on. This distracted from the game, but as above you recovered well and this episode was good. However, one of the aspects I try to nail when I GM is describing the scene. Nothing gets the players more involved and drawn into the world then describing what is around them, and happening to them. In other words verbal texture; describe enough of the scene to give your players an picture of their surroundings. I recently received praise from a gamer about how I make the players feel like their in the world, not just playing in it. I present pictures and describe things like the wind blowing In their faces; the sand between their toes, etc. Of course on a podcast pictures aren’t worth anything, so that’s when you have to really describe what’s going on around the players. Such as when they were in the food court, you could have described how they were assaulted by the array of exotic spices that wafted through the air. The myriad of voices that chattered between bites of food, sips of drinks, and verbal exchanges while ordering the special of the day. This was what I missed from this game. While I have a very good imagination and was able to conjure images of the scenes presented in the game, I wonder if anyone else saw what I saw.
UGLY: goes to Howard for several reasons, mainly for using his jet pack to fly out of the arena door.
